The investment volume in early 2025 could reach €900 million; already half of 2024's total of €1.8 billion

"According to Savills Investment Research, the commercial property market in the Czech Republic is expected to have a strong start in 2025, with investment volumes projected to reach approximately €900 million in the first two months alone. This figure represents about half of the total volume for 2024, which stood at €1.8 billion. Considering that after the conclusion of these early-in-the-year transactions, 2025 will still have ten months remaining. We are therefore confident that we have reached a turning point in the market and that we will be witnessing a return to higher trading volumes in Czech commercial real estate. In 2024, investment volumes grew by 40% year-on-year, driven by notable transactions, giving good indication of the pick-up in tempo and investor appetite."

Luxury high street yields are the most stable among retail investment properties

Luxury high street yields are the most favorable among retail investment properties, remaining stable at 4.4%, similarly to the situation in the Czech Republic. The attractiveness of high street properties is highlighted by the recent acquisition by the Raiffeisen realitní fond, managed by Raiffeisen investiční společnost, a. s. The Fund acquired the iconic building housing Louis Vuitton at Pařížská 3, for which Savills has gained the property management mandate."

The key factors shaping corporate catering are the cost of meals, the physical office occupancy and demands for a diverse menu selection

"When choosing new office spaces, companies take into account a variety of factors, including location, public transport accessibility, office size, and interior quality. However, in light of the current economic situation and its impacts, employee catering options are becoming an increasingly significant consideration. The discussion on the topic "Offices & Gastronomy", organised by Savills, focused precisely on the factors influencing corporate catering. The panel featured Lenka Preslová from Crestyl, Filip Sajler from Eat Smart, Tomáš Šimon from SCS Software and Pavel Novák from Savills."
